This it the complete version of my FIRST flash game.
It took a while, 3 months of designing, another 3 months of being distracted and afterwords being sent back to the drawing board for level and character re-design and 4 weeks of getting everything all together for my college class.
It has been exhusting but I am almost done with college life.
I need a break and I will get that verry soon.
Meanwhile I know that the only thing wrong is a few actionscript problems but this is the best I can make it.
Well, it was a change that my class wanted me to do.
Because of the colors I had used, my class wanted me to change the jungle woman into a jungle girl because to them they said that it appealed more to younger children instead of teenagers.
It was something I did not want to do but I was under so much pressure.
I did not mind changing the level but they said that teenagers and young adults are more into 3D games and not 2D. But I feel it is more of the younger children are more into 3D as much as young adults.
But this was part of my college class so I was always under pressure to please everyone and that is so hard when I have a different philosiphy to everyone else.
I am planning to create a sequel so I can add in more levels and even change the girl into a jungle woman.
Her red hair suits well because the path is yellow and her blonde hair would have got lost on the path and even on the dark quicksand spots.
So I will keep the red hair.
After the class pointed out the changers, I had only 4 weeks left of classes because of the year being so busy. Plus game designing was left out of the list in my college class until I strongly said that I wanted to complete the game.
now that I have done it, I have the basic knowhow of the action script and I can move on from there to make a sequel that will be better.
